FEYNLAB INDUSTRIAL RE-SET

Surface preparation determines coating performance. Industrial Re-Set is a high-performance surface prep solution that removes residues, lightly etches surfaces, and creates a uniform finish ready for coating or protection. It is Step 2 in the FEYNLAB Industrial Prep System, used after Industrial Degreaser has cleared the heavy grease and oil load. Re-Set will finish off the job while ensuring the surface is well prepared for a coating.

PREPARATION WITHOUT THE TRADE-OFF

Most industrial etching products force a choice between strong performance and safe chemistry. Products built around hydrofluoric acid deliver aggressive surface preparation but introduce serious risks. Milder alternatives reduce those risks but compromise on results. Industrial Re-Set was developed to close that gap. A balanced blend of organic and inorganic acids combined with specialty surfactants delivers controlled surface etching, strong residue removal, and reduced odor without relying on HF-based chemistry.

FORMING ACTION FOR BETTER COVERAGE

Industrial Re-Set produces a foaming action that improves dwell time and surface coverage, particularly on vertical panels and irregular equipment surfaces. The formula stays in contact with the surface long enough for the acid chemistry to work through residues left behind from the degreasing step. The result is a clean, uniformly prepared surface ready to accept a coating.

APPROVED SURFACES

Painted metal equipment surfaces, powder-coated components, construction equipment panels and frames, agricultural machinery, rubber tracks and tires, steel and aluminum surfaces.
DO NOT USE ON POLISHED FINISHES. This is an acidic product which can visually diminish and dull a polished finish.

APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS

Standard Process: Complete Step 1 with FEYNLAB Industrial Degreaser before applying Industrial Re-Set. Apply to a wet surface, spraying evenly across the area. Lightly agitate if needed. Allow a short dwell time and rinse thoroughly with water.

Persistent Hydrophobic Contamination: Lightly scuff the surface with 3000-grit sandpaper before reapplying Industrial Re-Set.

Final Preparation Step: Follow with FEYNLAB Industrial Panel Prep. Wipe the surface with a clean microfiber towel to complete the prep process before coating.
